Labour councillors, Labour volunteers and residents have been working hard from the late summer through to the early winter to cut back vegetation and to clear leaves and other debris from Town Lane.

Town Lane is the pedestrian and cycles only lane which joins Earley and Woodley. The lane runs from Pitts Lane in Earley  through to Tower Close (off Grays Crescent ) in Woodley. The lane passes between Woodley allotments and Bulmershe Field.

This year, we decided to do three sessions to make sure we cleared up the leaves before they accumulated too much!  The team also did an extra session to cut back some extra branches at the Pitts Lane end.

As always, many thanks to the councillor and residents for volunteering, and those who stopped to wish us well and to Mary for helping AND providing tea and chocolate!
