Headley Road Blue Badge car parking bays

We have this morning been told that the two blue badge bays that were to be lost, will be kept as blue badge until better bays (ie meeting modern standards, including dropped curb access to the pavement) are installed in a few months time.
Once the new bays are in place the old bays will become EV only.

Wokingham Borough Council (WBC) has replaced the two Blue Badge car parking bays closet to the Oakwood Centre , Woodley, with Electric Vehicle charging bays.

The loss of these two bays will make it significantly harder for Blue Badge holders to access the Oakwood Centre.

The EV charging points can go somewhere else.

Please sign the petition telling WBC to reinstate the two Blue Badge bays.
